System Administrator

Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking a System Administrator who will support a position in Seattle, WA. Responsibilities for the System Administrator :

  • Implement secure system designs using best practices in software and systems engineering.
  • Provide end-to-end IT support in secure lab environments, from desktops to servers.
  • Manage system access, patching, and release planning for hardware / software.
  • Support classified networks and ensure compliance with security standards.
  • Administer and maintain Linux and Windows systems, including virtualized environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues; automate tasks using scripting (e.g., PowerShell).
  • Integrate and maintain applications and infrastructure in accordance with RMF / JSIG standards.

Qualifications for the System Administrator :

  • Clearance TS / SCI with CI Poly
  • 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in system administration
  • Experience with Linux
  • Experience with hands on support with IT Hardware such as familiar with setting up, configuring, modifying and troubleshooting switches, routers, network equipment, high performance computing equipment, server racks

    • Compensation for the System Administrator :

  • 120,000 to $160,000
  • Depending on Experience
  • Cigna Medical, dental, vision, Holidays, 401k, PTO and Sick leave as required by law
