Job Title : Hardware Power Electronics Engineer

Position Overview : Nextracker is seeking a motivated Hardware Power Electronics Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Hardware Engineer, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and optimization of power electronics systems for Nextracker's innovative energy products. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of sustainable energy solutions while collaborating with a world-class team of engineers and researchers.

Responsibilities :

• Delivery of multiple power converters to production, spanning from a few hundred watts to several hundred kW, collaborating within a team environment.
• Address challenges at scale to achieve industry-leading reliability and efficiency.
• Undertake magnetic components design including inductors, transformers, and EMI filters.
• Execute hardware design tasks such as MOSFET selection, sensing circuitry, schematic design, and layout.
• Collaborate with the mechanical team to conceptualize packaging and thermal management systems.
• Work closely with the firmware team in designing control loops.
• Apply experience in DFM and Worst-Case Analysis WCA.
• Utilize expertise with FPGA and microcontrollers, along with peripheral circuitry.

Desired Qualifications :

Pay is based on market location and may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education and other job-related reasons. The annual salary range for this position is $170,000-$190,000 (Applicable to California)
