Disaster Services Manager
Schedule / Hours : Monday-Friday, 8 : 30 am - 4 : 30 pm
This position is responsible for : Assists the Divisional Emergency Disaster Services Director in the overall management and dedication of resources in the achievement of the Salvation Army mission. Assists in the development and maintenance of the ALM Divisional EDS resources; oversees the operation, maintenance, and inventory of the ALM Divisional EDS warehouse; oversees the operation, maintenance, and inventory of the ALM Divisional EDS fleet. Supervises Emergency Disaster Services logistics personnel, EDS Logistics Specialist, and / or any other full-time, part-time, and / or temporary personnel as required. Maintains a constant state of readiness to deploy (locally, regionally, or nationally) in support of Emergency Disaster Services role throughout the ALM Division and beyond. Meets and maintains all licensure requirements for driving assigned vehicles and forklifts; to include CDL if licensed (preferably CLD-Class A endorsement)

What We Are Looking For In You
High school diploma or G.E.D. with experience in performing / working in a logistical and warehouse environment AND Two years progressively responsible experience overseeing a warehouse environment or logistical work and two years' experience driving large vehicles OR Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
