The Company is seeking a VP, Product Actuary to join their team. The successful candidate will work in partnership with the Chief Actuary and Chief Product Officer to shape the company's product vision and lead the product development and management functional area. This role is pivotal in driving the future of the retirement industry, and the VP, Product Actuary will be responsible for leading the product actuarial team, providing actuarial insights on product risk management and profitability, and overseeing the development of pricing assumptions, models, and methodologies. The role also involves collaborating with marketing and sales to develop innovative products that meet market needs and corporate sales targets.

Candidates for the VP, Product Actuary position should have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with an FSA preferred, and a minimum of 10 years of experience in actuarial roles within the life insurance industry, particularly in product development. The role requires a proven track record of leadership, a strong understanding of annuity products, pricing, and risk management, and excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. The VP, Product Actuary will also be expected to have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, as they will be leading a team and working closely with various stakeholders. The position offers the opportunity to develop the next generation of product and pricing leaders and to support reinsurance initiatives to enhance the capital efficiency, profitability, and risk profile of the business.
