Schedule

Shifts are available from 6 : 00 AM to 2 : 30 PM or 6 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM, requiring 4 x 10-hour workdays. Every other weekend is required.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. The RN plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on the patient's needs. The nurse will identify patient needs and determine priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care through initial and ongoing assessments.
• Initiate assessments based on the patient's problems or needs, the physician's medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework.
• Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage care for patients.
• Document care based on standards of care, practice, patient acuity, and / or clinical priorities.
• Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and support the adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.
