Are you a customer service professional looking for a great opportunity in insurance? You might be a perfect fit for our open insurance customer service representative role. You'll be in charge of answering phones, resolving billing issues, processing payments, and amending policies. Additional tasks include assisting our sales teams with day-to-day activities and generating policy quotes. Compensation : 15 - $16 hourly

Responsibilities :

  • Handle complaints, present appropriate solutions, and alternatives within the timeframes set, and follow up to ensure that the issue has been resolved
  • Follow-up on client interactions in a thorough manner to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Make accurate modifications to consumer policies depending on the information supplied
  • Validate client insurance coverage and present policyholders with proof of insurance documents
  • Assist the sales team by following up with customers for required documentation, submitting documents to underwriting, mailing policy packages, etc.

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent needed
  • Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office and customer relationship management software
  • Prior work in a customer-facing position or customer service role is required
  • Display strong communication skills, active listening skills, and personal skills
  • A general understanding of insurance policies and schedules is preferred
  • Hold an active 4-40 (Insurance Customer Service Representative license) or are willing to obtain one within the first 30 days of employment

  • Our team works from our state-of-the-art office in Miramar, where all the tools needed are provided. This is an in-office position, with hours of operation of Monday-Friday, 9 : 00 am - 5 : 30 pm.
