Job Description

The Medical Practice Administrator III is a member of our leadership team and works directly with the Vice President of Operations and will collaborate with the rest of the Practice Administration Team and be responsible for supporting the Resource Anesthesiology of Tennessee Facilities . The Medical Practice Administrator III will work with the executive management team as well as local hospital leadership. Strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills are a must. Supervise and manage medical and administrative staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.

Schedule and oversee staffing to ensure adequate coverage for patient care and office operations.

Foster a positive, collaborative work environment for all staff members.

Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts in a professional manner.

Oversee the practice's financial health, including budgeting, billing, and accounting procedures.

Ensure accurate patient billing and timely collection of payments

Review and approve expenses, maintaining a cost-effective practice.

Monitor revenue cycle management, working closely with the billing department to optimize collections.

Analyze financial data to identify areas for improvement or cost savings.            Oversee credentialing and licensure of medical staff.

Manage patient privacy and information security.

Address patient complaints, concerns, and feedback to improve patient satisfaction.

Ensure the practice has systems in place for effective appointment scheduling, patient communication, and follow-up.

Maintain efficient office systems and workflows to ensure a high level of productivity and patient care.

Prepare regular reports on practice performance, including financials, patient care metrics, and staff performance.

Collaborate with the medical team to set goals and long-term strategic plans for the practice.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration (MHA) or Business Administration (MBA) is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of experience in healthcare administration or a related field, preferably in a medical office or clinic.
  • Knowledge of medical billing, coding, and insurance processes is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
