Looking for a full-time  Occupational Therapy Assistant   for a Skilled Nursing Facility in the Bronx, NY. We are offering competitive compensation, and  a  comprehensive benefit package.

Job Responsibilities :

• Provides skilled therapeutic intervention and services under the supervision of a n Occupational Therapist.
• Follows all regulations  and  guidelines of facility  including compliance with confidentiality and HIPPA.
• Adheres to discussed scheduled hours and conducts self in a professional manner at all times.
• Provides documentation of  patient’s condition, and provide caregiver / patient education as appropriate.
• Regularly discuss es  with supervising  Occupational Therapist  patient’s progress and any concerns or guidance needed .
• Ensures safe treatment practices and monitors patient ’ s engagement  and  responses to treatment ,  modifies as necessary .
