Inside Sales Representative
We are seeking a self-starting, technical, and driven Inside Sales Representative to join our growing team. As a leader in the industrial and high-technology markets, we are looking for a hard-working individual who can excel in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in cultivating new business and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers. If you are passionate about providing excellent service, enjoy meeting sales targets, and are great with time management, this might be a good fit for you.
What You'll Do
Generate and manage sales by providing timely product and technical information to new and existing customers.
Determine customer requirements to recommend the best products and solutions, including proposing alternate options based on cost, availability, or specifications.
Present and negotiate prices and terms for all transactions, including orders, quotes, and returns.
Actively grow sales and increase average order size through cross-selling, up-selling, and offering promotional items.
Resolve customer inquiries and complaints while ensuring ongoing satisfaction and building strong rapport.
Educate customers on product terminology, features, and benefits to improve their understanding and satisfaction.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities within our CRM system.
Collaborate with purchasing to communicate unexpected changes in product demand and work with the distribution team to meet goals.
Skills & Qualifications
Experience in industrial distribution is highly preferred, or other relevant sales / customer service experience.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a great phone presence.
Highly organized with excellent time management skills and a systematic approach to tasks.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and meet sales deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook) and experience with CRM software .
Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and critical thinking skills.
A positive attitude with the ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment .
Honest, assertive, and detail-oriented.
