Position Overview

The Controller will oversee the financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements. This role is crucial for providing strategic financial guidance, managing budgeting processes, and improving financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily financial operations and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
  • Manage the budgeting process and provide analysis of variances to budget.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and oversee tax filings and reporting.
  • Conduct financial forecasting and provide strategic recommendations based on financial analysis.
  • Lead capital planning processes and assess funding requirements for projects.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and controls to safeguard company assets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial management role, preferably as a Controller.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and practices.
  • Experience with financial forecasting and capital planning.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks accounting software is preferred.
  • CPA certification is a plus, demonstrating advanced expertise in accounting standards and practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
