Fanatics Collectibles is seeking an experienced Sr. Manager / Director of Manufacturing Systems to lead the development, implementation, and optimization of key production systems across our manufacturing operations. This role will drive digital transformation initiatives, ensuring seamless integration and enablement of systems & platforms to enhance efficiency, reporting, and decision-making across our Manufacturing, Scheduling, Quality, Project Management, Supply Chain, and Finance functions.
As the Sr. Manager / Director , you will act as a Product Manager, Project Manager, and Software Engineering Manager collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to align technology solutions with business needs. You will oversee two dedicated teams (pods) :
- Business Intelligence (BI), Reporting & Analytics Focused on delivering actionable insights and performance metrics.
- Systems Development Responsible for software engineering and system integrations to drive automation and scalability.
The ideal candidate is technically skilled, independent, organized, and brings deep knowledge of MES, MRP, and ERP systems. Candidates with a passion for sports and entertainment and excitement for high-visibility, high-impact digital transformation work will likely find themselves a strong cultural fit.
Own the end-to-end development, validation, deployment, and support of manufacturing systems to enable production efficiency and data-driven decision-making.Not wait to be told what to do, but rather lead cross-functional collaboration with manufacturing, scheduling, quality, supply chain, and finance to identify opportunities, define requirements, and build a technology backlog.Oversee the Business Intelligence (BI) and Reporting pod, ensuring accurate, real-time data visualization and analytics through Power BI and other tools.Manage the Systems Development pod, driving integration efforts across Infor Visual, Oracle Fusion, and other systems powering our manufacturing to improve automation and scalability.Act as the primary point of contact for system administration, governance, and user support, ensuring high adoption and system performance.Partner with IT and engineering teams to design and implement custom configurations, automation, and integrations.Establish best practices, standardization, and governance for system use, training, and data management.Troubleshoot, resolve, and proactively address system issues, enhancements, and user feedback.Stay ahead of technological advancements and system updates, ensuring alignment with evolving business needs.7+ years of experience developing and managing business applications, enterprise systems, or manufacturing technology.Strong expertise in Infor Visual, Oracle Fusion, Power BI, and Power Platforms.Familiarity with modern programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, C#), web app frameworks (e.g., Node, React, NextJS), and data technologies (e.g., SQL, Snowflake).Deep experience building engineering teams and establishing a production-grade Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).Familiarity with deploying production-grade systems in the public cloud (AWS, Azure, and / or GCP).Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive complex system implementations.Experience working in manufacturing, supply chain, or production environments and familiarity with MES, MRP, and ERP systems.Strong background in data analytics, reporting, and business intelligence tools.Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions while managing timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to train and support end-users.Experience leading modern cloud-based software development and system integration projects.Strong project management and product management skills.Must be based locally in Sunnyvale, TX.Ensure your Fanatics job offer is legitimate and don't fall victim to fraud.
