We're seeking a dynamic operator who thrives in complexity and is energized by building. The ideal candidate brings a rare blend of strategic thinking and tactical execution, capable of shaping structure from ambiguity while driving measurable progress. As the operational anchor for Vizient's R&D ventures, this leader will drive disciplined execution across undefined and fast-evolving environments. Reporting to the VP of Venture Delivery, this individual will shape and maintain the internal operating rhythm, support early-stage venture scale-up, and ensure seamless coordination across internal and external stakeholders. They will be a hands-on leader with the strategic range to serve as "second-in-command," while building scalable systems, processes, and teams from the ground up. This role is ideal for a versatile operator with a track record of growing scope and complexity across domains, brings strong program discipline and is energized by creating rather than maintaining. T his is an office based role with a requirement to be in the office 3 days a week, and to reside in one of Vizient's primary locations (Irving, TX Chicago, IL Alpharetta, GA Centennial, CO or Minneapolis, MN).

Role Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional execution from venture inception through scale across product, design, engineering, commercial, and operational workstreams.
• Design and institutionalize scalable operational frameworks (governance rhythms, milestone tracking, risk mitigation plans) to ensure speed and accountability without compromising compliance.
• Collaborate deeply with legal, privacy, and compliance teams, embedding operational risk management into product development timelines.
• Draft and deliver executive communications (internally and externally) that reinforce clarity and confidence across stakeholders.
• Facilitate structured collaboration across domains, aligning strategy and execution through clear operating cadences.
• Champion continuous improvement, bringing an agile, data-informed mindset to operational tooling, reporting systems, and team enablement.

Requirements

Estimated Hiring Range :

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $135,200.00 to $236,600.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
