Software Developer

Rapid Cycle Solutions LLC (RCS) is an innovative small business providing IT and management consulting services to the U.S. Federal Government and commercial clients. RCS is seeking a Software Developer to maintain a network, record system, and other analytical applications to collect and analyze data on the business operations. The goal is to improve the integrity and usability of its data collected during its day to day operation. It performs this duty through the development of software systems. This requires support specializing in development and maintenance of software that extracts, transforms, and loads data from various data formats into data models. It also requires expertise that will appropriately secure those capabilities.

This position requires the candidate to meet specific DoD Security Clearance obligations to work onsite in Chantilly, VA. Relocation assistance is not available.

What you will do :

  • Work within a data engineering team. This team works closely with operations officers, analysts, and external engineers to gather requirements and refine systems.
  • Assess and validate development requirements across Sponsor organization.
  • Develop software to extract, transform, and load data.
  • Help architect and implement a framework for extraction, transformation, and loading data.
  • Assess and validate system integration requirements across organization.
  • Provide Operations and Maintenance (O&M) for data related software systems.
  • Finesse cyber data models.

    • Required Qualifications / Education :

  • Clearance : Active TS / SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph
  • Identifying and validating requirements for Extract, Transform, and Load systems.
  • Developing software.
  • Python development.
  • Integrating new technology stacks into software systems.

    • Nice to Have Qualifications :

  • NiFi.
  • Kafka.
  • Logstash.
  • SQL.
  • Building modular systems.
  • Understanding of the Cyber Security domain.
