Design Engineer

Reports to : Engineering Manager

This Design Engineer will support the Engineering Department by performing the following duties :

Job Duties :

• Design engineered solutions for customer applications following best practice guidelines.
• Support and collaborate with multiple project teams.
• Create 3D CAD models and drawings following technical standards and material specifications.
• Define and analyze test results to confirm the functional capability of the design.
• Collaborate and coordinate engineering activities with German colleagues.
• Prepare build and optimize lines for prototypes and test vehicles.
• Interface with customer as required for product specifications.
• Design product and components to meet functional manufacturability quality cost and performance targets.
• Support Development Engineers with necessary engineering and drafting tasks as requested.
• Follow all Quality Management Systems the Environmental Management Sytems and when applicable support VOSS Automotive Mexico in adhering to their systems as well.
