Project Coordinator, Subcontractor Diversity
The Project Coordinator, Subcontractor Diversity will guide the firm's efforts to ensure full compliance with Minority- and Women-Owned Business Enterprise (MWBE) and Section 3 Business Concern goals on public-sector design-build projects throughout New York City. This role requires a deep knowledge of NYC procurement regulations, particularly NYC Local Law 1 of 2013, Article 15-A of the NY Executive Law and the HUD Act of 1968 as well as a proactive approach to engagement, tracking, and reporting of MWBE and Section 3 participation. The Project Coordinator, Subcontractor Diversity will work closely with internal teams-including preconstruction, legal, procurement, and project delivery-as well as subcontractors and agency representatives, to ensure that all contractual compliance goals are met or exceeded.
Key Responsibilities
Interpret, implement, and enforce MWBE and Section 3 requirements on all eligible contracts.
Source, vet, and prequalify MWBE and Section 3 Business Concern subcontractors and suppliers.
Maintain detailed utilization tracking.
Provide diversity compliance training.
Lead audit preparedness.
