CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS (IDENTIFY UP TO 6 CORE RESPONSIBILITIES WITH ASSOCIATED JOB TASKS)
The incumbent will provide technical assistance and support to manufacturing operations, in order to support Manufacturing performance and Continuous Process Improvement initiatives.
Preventive Maintenance (PM)
- Assist in implementation of Equipment Preventive and Predictive Schedules based upon Historical Performance and manufacturers suggested maintenance intervals.
- Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines, following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications and established PM schedules.
- Diagnose problems with machinery / processes by observing, listening, testing, and troubleshooting mechanical devices in operation
- Maintains equipment, parts, critical spares, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.
- Maintains electronic records for history of PM's for all manufacturing assets
- Document and communicate actions, irregularities, and continuing needs, and communicating to relevant departments
- Fabricates repair parts as needed by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.

May work indoors and outdoors as needed. Exposure to heat up to 120 degrees and cold to 0 degrees.

May work in areas where toxic, flammable, and hazardous materials are present.
May be exposed to varying amounts of dust and dirt. Work surfaces may include concrete.
Employee must be able to tolerate non-toxic paint odors and be able to wear a respirator as required.
Employee must be able to operate a computer and communicate via telephone.
