Welcome to George & Gather, a new restaurant concept opening in downtown Chandler, February of 2025, serving delicious made from-scratch, organic and locally sourced dishes. We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Server Assistant to join our team. In this position, you will play a crucial role in providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Join us in our beautifully restored mid-century building and be part of a team dedicated to using clean, organic ingredients while offering a nourishing and enjoyable dining experience.

Job Description / Responsibilities

Support the service team to ensure a positive dining experience for our guests
Set / re-set tables to company standards
Set / re-stock service stations
Clear plates and glassware from tables during service
Ensure clean and organized dining and service areas
Perform assigned side work duties as required
Create a warm and welcoming energy to the team and guests
Assist with any other needs that arise during service

Requirements

Prior restaurant experience is preferred but not required

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Ability to stand / walk for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds

Ability to communicate effectively with service staff, kitchen and guests

Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as required

Maintain a professional appearance
