Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Speech Language Pathologist, located in Port Jefferson, NY. The responsibilities of the role include assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with speech, language, and communication disorders. The Speech Language Pathologist will create individualized treatment plans, provide therapy, and monitor patients' progress. Maintaining records in compliance with regulatory and professional standards and collaborating with other healthcare professionals is also a key aspect of this role.

Qualifications

Knowledge

• in Speech Therapy, Speech, and Dysphagia treatment
• Knowledge in diagnosing and managing Communication Disorders and Language Disorders
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare teams
• Current licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of New York
• Relevant certifications or training in voice disorders, fluency disorders, or swallowing therapy are a plus
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field is required
• Ability to work compassionately and maintain detailed, organized documentation
