Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Civil Designer who is proficient in using AutoCAD Civil 3D software. The role involves designing subsurface areas including residential development, commercial site development, street improvements, utility infrastructure design, pump and tank design, municipal utility master-planning, and cost estimating. You will collaborate closely with the project management team to take designs from conception to completion, and modify redlined designs as needed.

Responsibilities

Design using AutoCAD Civil 3D software.

Develop subsurface designs for residential, commercial, and municipal projects.

Create designs for street improvements and utility infrastructure.

Collaborate with project managers to bring designs from conception to completion.

Modify redlined designs according to project requirements.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Experience in civil design and municipal engineering.

Expert level schematic design skills.

Ability to interact and communicate effectively with clients.

4-7 years of experience in a consulting engineering firm or design-build company.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Redlining experience.

License preferred (EIT / PE).

Experience with grading plans, utility plans, and site development.

Work Environment

The position is based in a large office space in North Fresno, working alongside a team of 6 engineers, 2 project managers, and 3 interns. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $70.00 / hr.
