Staff Accountant

Join a dynamic team as a Staff Accountant focusing on General Ledger Accounting. This role involves preparing and posting journal entries for month-end and year-end processes, reconciling general ledger accounts, and assisting in the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules.

Responsibilities :

• Prepare and post journal entries for month-end and year-end processes.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations for multiple accounts.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Calculate and record accruals for property and sales tax.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
• Assist with tax filings and audits as needed.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor aging reports and ensure timely collections.
• Support AP / AR month-end close processes.
• Prepare ad hoc reports and financial analysis as requested.
• Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $38.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
