Advanced Practitioner - CVICU PRN position in beautiful Charleston, SC

Roper St. Francis Healthcare is recruiting Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants with CVICU experience!

• PRN positions
• Roper St. Francis Healthcare is private, not-for-profit
• Under the supervision of the sponsoring physician, the Cardiovascular ICU Advanced Practitioner assists in coordinating and providing care to patients along the continuum of hospitalization.
• This position primarily works in an inpatient, intensive care unit-based position, with hospital exposure during code blue team participation and consultations.

Minimum Qualifications :

Education :  Graduate of a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) program accredited by an appropriate agency recognized by the South Carolina State Board of Medical Examiners (SCSBME).

Experience :  Experience as a PA or NP in a hospital setting required. Strongly prefer at least 2 years in cardiovascular intensive care, working under the direction / supervision of cardiac surgeon, cardiologist or cardiac intensivist.

Licensure / Certification :  Must be licensed and / or certified by appropriate agencies as required by state law. Must be licensed by SCSBME. Must have current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider and ACLS Provider Cards.
