Travel ICU RN – Neuro Medicine ICU | Level 3 RN

Location : Rochester, NY

Start Date : August 4, 2025

Contract Length : 13 Weeks

Shift Schedule : 3x12s – Rotating Days / Evenings / Nights

Includes : Holidays, On-Call, Callback, Charge RN as needed

Unit Info : Neuro Medicine ICU

This is a state-of-the-art 12-bed ICU specializing in the care of critically ill neurologic patients . The unit manages complex neuro cases including :

Traumatic brain injury

Aneurysms

Status epilepticus

Stroke

Other high-acuity neurologic emergencies

Nurses in this ICU must deliver specialized intensive care with strong attention to detail, teamwork, and communication.

Job Duties :

Deliver patient-focused, high-acuity ICU nursing care

Monitor and respond to critical neurologic changes

Collaborate with interdisciplinary neuro and trauma teams

Perform assessments, manage drips, and interpret telemetry

Assist in emergency interventions as needed

Required Qualifications :

RN License – New York State (Required)

Minimum 2 years of ICU acute care experience

Telemetry experience required

Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills

Certifications (Required) :

BLS – American Heart Association ONLY

ACLS – American Heart Association ONLY
