Worker's Compensation Specialty Evaluator

As a Worker's Compensation Specialty Evaluator, you will beresponsible for performing Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs) and Work Conditioning Evaluations, as needed. You will travel within the region to the clinics when needed. You will also be responsible for performing peer reviews and active audits for prospective specialty program clients.

What You’ll Need :

  • Associate Degree in Allied Health profession such as Exercise Physiology, Athletic Training, Sports Medicine, or Physical / Occupational Therapy
  • Previous experience with Worker’s Compensation recommended but not required
  • What You’ll Do :

  • Perform worker’s compensation active peer review to monitor worker’s compensation progression, monitor documentation and assure all scripts are correct, monitor completion and delivery of weekly status report and monitor charges
  • Perform Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs) and Work Conditioning Evaluations as needed
  • Perform onsite services within the scope of each individual’s state licensure
  • Verbally report significant information or changes in a patient’s condition to the appropriate therapist immediately
  • Assist with the maintenance of patient medical records and maintain patient confidentiality
  • Travel as required
