job_description.job_card.job_descriptionCreate and revise 2D drawings and layouts using AutoCAD Develop as-built drawings, schematics, and assembly layouts / documentation for production and installation. Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot and refine designs for standardized and custom products Maintain drawing files and documentation using version control (e.g., Autodesk Vault). Assist in troubleshooting design issues and provide timely updates based on feedback. Ensure compliance with company standards and support design review processes. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology, Drafting & Design, or related field (preferred). 1+ years of experience in technical drafting and engineering design support. Proficiency in AutoCAD (Electrical preferred) Strong collaboration and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail and deadlines. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Autodesk Vault) is a plus.

- This contract-to-hire role involves using AutoCAD to develop production-ready designs, collaborating cross-functionally, and ensuring documentation accuracy. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to innovative solutions and transition into a permanent role.
- Anticipate $25-$29 / hour
- Onsite in KCMO, M-F, 40 hours per week (may be occasional remote work, TBD)
- Ideally, this person would be converted to FT employee (based on performance)
