The DC Putaway Driver uses a forklift to perform all functions related to the putaway (reserve storage) process as assigned by the warehouse management system (EXE).
Responsibilities
- Arrive to work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work all scheduled shifts.
- Comply with all applicable state health and safety codes.
- Maintain clean and sanitary operating environment.
- Operates powered pallet jack / forklift in accordance with OSHA and Whole Foods regulations to move product.
- Abide by all safety regulations set forth by OSHA and WFM.
- Reports all accidents and injuries to Team Leader or Facility Leadership immediately.
- Ensures all product is secure and safe prior to putaway.
- Properly maintains all equipment associated with the position.
- Accurately performs putaways as directed by the warehouse management system (EXE) and Receiving leadership.
- Reports all issues regarding the letdown process to Inventory Control and Receiving Leadership.
- Attend all team and facility meetings.
