This Opportunity

WSP is currently initiating a search for an Environmental Technician for the Jacksonville, FL (Baymeadows Road) office. Be involved in projects with our Earth & Environment Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client's objectives and solves their challenges.

Your Impact

• Perform hands on field work associated with environmental site assessment and monitoring.
• Adhere to strict standard operating procedures for collection of groundwater, soil, sediment, surface water, and soil gas samples.
• Operate and maintain environmental field instruments including water level meters, turbidity meters, and multiparameter water quality meters.
• Record field data and perform basic calculations based on observed parameters.
• Perform assigned office duties field equipment maintenance, equipment restocking, instrument repair and service requests, field data entry, presentation of data, and other technical support tasks.
• Install and maintain remediation systems.
• Coordinate and communicate with client representatives, subcontractors, homeowners, and WSP employees.
