Position Summary
The Director of BI & Data Analytics is a critical leadership role within G&A Operations organization, shaping Dynatron’s evolution as a data-driven company that leverages systems to provide strategic insights across the business. This leadership position will build out the company’s data warehouse and data models, partner with departmental leaders and operators to unlock insights with BI reporting and dashboards, and develop a growing team of analysts.
What You'll Do :
- Own the company’s strategic approach to cataloging and organizing all non-financial data across the business, including strictly-defined data sources, measurement / transformation methodology, definitions and calculations of company-wide data terminology and metrics, and standardized templates and branding
- Build out the company’s data warehouse and comprehensive data model, including ensuring the flow of all system integrations, ensuring data integrity / accuracy, and owning the company’s output / visualization tool (Tableau)
- Develop executive-level Tableau BI packages, including company- and department-level KPIs for weekly and monthly distributions, to help guide strategic decision making
- Act as service provider for departmental operations, providing visibility and insights into the business to help the company make informed decisions and monitor performance (e.g., Services team scheduling / productivity, TA open / filled requisitions, Marketing campaign effectivity, etc…)
- Collaborate with Business Solutions to ensure the company’s system strategy is compatible with the company’s tech stack and aligned with the company’s data needs
- Lead and develop the Data Analytics organization, currently with two direct reports and potential for further growth
What We're Looking For :
Ability to own enterprise-level data architecture, including ongoing education of emerging trends / solutions to include in the company’s long-term road mapExperience with building out data warehouses, including consolidated data models, ETL / API integrations, and structured data pulls across multiple enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, HRIS, ATS, etc…)Proven ability to build out reports and dashboards with BI tools for various audiences, ranging from individual contributors to executive leadershipKnowledge and experience working with Snowflake and Tableau would be beneficialStrong ability to thrive in a complex, fast-paced environment, with an eagerness to identify and tackle new issues / tasksPositive attitude and demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional manner with a fully-remote workforceUndergraduate degree in a field related to data (e.g., math, computer science, business analytics, or transferable equivalent), and 10+ years’ experience in a data-focused roleWork Location(s) & Travel Requirements
This position will be remote (US-based)On an ad hoc-basis, occasional travel may be required to company headquarters in Dallas or Las Vegas metropolitan areas (~10%)Benefits Summary :
