Software Engineer, Entry-Level

About the role

Software Engineers at Muon build the systems that make it possible to design, test, launch, and operate constellations of satellites for a wide variety of missions. Our engineers contribute to embedded flight software, physics simulations, customer-facing APIs and services, user interfaces, scheduling algorithms, data pipelines, computer vision, signal processing, and large-scale cloud systems.

As an Entry-Level Software Engineer, you'll bring strong technical foundations and a passion for learning, while developing into an expert in your chosen domain. You'll work closely with experienced engineers, gaining exposure to challenging problems and cutting-edge technologies in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design, development, and testing of new software capabilities for ground or space systems
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Collaborate with teammates to propose and iterate on software designs
• Conduct analysis to support both development and validation of systems
• Learn new technologies quickly and apply them effectively
• Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Deliver work reliably and on schedule

Salary

The salary range for this role is $130,000 - $150,000 plus a competitive equity grant and comprehensive benefits package. Final compensation will be based on skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location as assessed during the interview process.
