Located in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, Legacy Health is currently seeking experienced clinician educators to join our dynamic and well-established yet expanding Academic Hospitalist Program.

Legacy Academic Medical Group offers :

• Exciting clinical work at two hospitals in Portland, Oregon : Emanuel Medical Center and Good Samaritan Medical Center
• Flexible scheduling model to optimize work-life balance
• Potential for leadership growth and development
• Collegial and collaborative relationship with nursing, subspecialists and ancillary services
• Clinician educator opportunity :
• Attending physician supervising Legacy’s own Internal Medicine housestaff and rotating students for 8-12 ward weeks per year with additional attending duties on admitting shifts
• Abundant opportunities for resident / medical student education, quality work, and committee work
• Dedicated multi-disciplinary rounds
• Approximately 15 shifts / month, mix of day, swing, and night shifts
• Nocturnist opportunity :
• Provide comprehensive care for hospitalized patients during nocturnal shifts including supervisorial responsibility for Internal Medicine housestaff
• Approximately 10-12 night shifts / month
