Network Planning Engineering, Florida

Location : Melbourne, Florida (Hybrid – Local Candidates Preferred)

Employment Type : W2 Only

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Networking, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems , or a related technical field from a 4-year accredited institution

8+ years of experience in network engineering with IP networks

6+ years of experience in design, development, and implementation of IP and MPLS network architectures

Technical Skills :

Strong IP configuration and troubleshooting skills; familiarity with protocols such as :

PIM, BGP, ISIS, OSPF, EIGRP, HSRP, VPLS, VRFs, L3VPN, Ethernet

(Expertise in all is not required — candidates with solid experience in some will be considered)

Experience creating IP Addressing Plans

Exposure to SD-WAN technologies

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Visio

Strong technical writing and presentation skills
