What you’ll do as a Quality Control Field Technician
Conduct quality inspections during the installation process to ensure work meets plans and specificationsPerform final inspections as requested by customers to ensure compliance with construction standardsIdentify issues and report them to relevant team members for resolutionRecord and follow up on non-compliance issues until they are resolvedEnsure all required testing is completed as specified and document the resultsFollow installation milestones and support project activities as directed by managementWork overtime, travel, and handle on-call or after-hours responsibilities as needed, and perform duties in all weather conditionsOther duties as assignedWhat you’ll need
To be 18 years of age or olderAuthorization to work in the United States for this companyValid State driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving recordRegular out-of-town travel as requiredOne year of relevant work experienceMust be proficient with Google Suite, database software and Microsoft Office SuiteMust have knowledge of quality processes and be familiar with a variety of safety programsPrevious telecommunications work experience, experience running crews is preferredExceptional organizational and communication (both verbal and written) skills and problem solving skillsAssociates Degree in an industry related field or equivalent work experienceKnowledge and understanding of the telecommunication construction industry standard practicesKnowledge of Customer Installation Standards and DocumentationPhysical abilities & exposures
