Scope of Position
Reporting to the Strategic Partnerships and Advocacy Manager, the Regional Partnerships Supervisor will act as a trusted liaison between local communities and the universitys academic programs, research, and extension systems. The Regional Partnerships Coordinator plays a key role in cultivating and sustaining strategic relationships across healthcare, public health, education, and community sectors within designated regions. This position supports the mission of the Rural and Appalachian Healthcare Extension (RAHE) by aligning regional efforts with organizational goals, facilitating collaboration, and ensuring that community voices inform program development and policy advocacy.
Position Summary
The Regional Partnerships Supervisor serves as a leader between Ohio State University and local communities to advance community-centered health initiatives. This role supervises Healthcare Extension Agents and health fellows and coordinates the activities of both positions. The Regional Partnerships Coordinator will emphasize co-creation, advocacy, and partnership-building, connecting OSUs academic and clinical resources with community needs. Responsibilities include enhancing community relationships, facilitating collaboration, maintaining open and transparent communication, staying attuned to evolving local needs, and filling the role of a Healthcare Extension Agent in the event of a vacancy.
Minimum qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 3 years of relevant experience required. 4-8 years of relevant experience preferred.
