Chief Operations Officer

The Chief Operations Officer (COO) will be responsible for the planning and implementation of day-to-day operations and will oversee interactions both clinical and administrative, throughout Swope Health to ensure high-quality performance.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the COO will collaborate closely with all service line leadersdental, primary care, and behavioral health services to optimize clinical operations. The COO will manage the Director of Practice Management to ensure service line productivity, efficiency, safety, and operational and financial success.
The COO will be responsible for the oversight of Swope Health facilities, pharmacy, process improvement, radiology, optometry, practice management, and transportation operations. In addition, this leader will also oversee the 340-B program that is currently implemented.
Ideal candidates will be strong operators and will bring the ability to effectively bring forward their ideas and initiatives to ensure optimal growth for the organization. This includes being vocal, yet simultaneously collaborative with fellow executives to secure optimal outcomes for Swope Health.

Seeking a candidate with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams. The Swope Health COO should be KPI or metric driven with a strong ability to convert vision into operational execution.
Requirements
- A master's degree is required.
- A certification in healthcare operations or healthcare preferred.
- A minimum of three years of experience in an organization-wide leadership role at the director- level or above is required.
- FQHC experience is strongly preferred; healthcare system experience is required.
