Outpatient Per Diem Nurse - Weekends - Radiation Oncology

Weekend care ensures continuity for hospitalized patients requiring scheduled radiation treatments.

The Clinical Nurse - Radiation Oncology (Weekend Per Diem) coordinates and manages care for inpatients transported to the Radiation Oncology department for treatment. This role ensures safe transitions, monitors patients during visits, and provides education and support. The nurse collaborates with multiple teams to maintain continuity of care and uphold quality standards.

The ideal candidate is a licensed Registered Nurse with at least three years of nursing experience, preferably in oncology or radiation oncology. Ambulatory care experience and strong critical thinking skills are highly valued. Candidates should be comfortable with inpatient handoffs, telephone triage, and multidisciplinary communication. Flexibility to work variable weekend hours and complete mandatory training during the first two weeks is required.

Schedule : Weekends - Saturday and Sunday; hours vary based on patient census

Hourly Per Diem Rate- $52
