Position : Technical Program Manager (San Jose CA)
Job Overview : The successful candidate will lead and support end-to-end program management for OCP S.A.F.E. certifications across multiple Security Review Providers (SRPs) engineering teams and product generations. This role requires strong technical program management capabilities deep familiarity with security processes and the ability to collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
This is a contract role.
What you will be doing as a Technical Program Manager
Program & Project Management
Develop and execute comprehensive plans for OCP S.A.F.E. across multiple OCP Security Review Providers (SRPs) engineering teams and product lines.
Track the status of ongoing certification submissions unblock engineering teams and escalate issues to management when necessary.
Maintain program status and drive dependencies / actions with DSK (Korea HQ) and SRPs.
Co-manage OCP S.A.F.E. program priorities target dates and budget.
Provide clear and timely visibility of program status to all stakeholders.
Technical & Security Collaboration
Work closely with security engineering teams to ensure compliance with OCP S.A.F.E. specifications including cryptography implementations in storage applications.
Demonstrate familiarity with code review processes threat modeling vulnerability testing / management and the overall Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Drive continuous process improvements through checklists best practices post-mortems and optimizing QA time for certifications.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
Manage relationships with OCP Security Review Providers (SRPs) ensuring effective collaboration timely issue resolution and SRP selection based on bandwidth and project needs.
Collaborate with business teams to provide visibility into certification schedules timelines and deliverables.
Represent the security team in customer meetings and industry forums / working groups.
Skills you ideally bring to the table as a Technical Program Manager
Education & Experience
Bachelors degree with 5 years of relevant industry experience or masters degree with 3 years of experience specifically with OCP S.A.F.E. certifications.
Prior experience working directly with OCP Security Review Providers (SRPs).
Preferable experience with security architecture and codebases for enterprise SSD / HDD devices.
Strong background in cryptography and security applications in storage technologies (e.g. SSDs).
Skills & Competencies
Proven ability to manage complex technical programs involving multiple teams and stakeholders.
Excellent communication collaboration and stakeholder-management skills.
