Boeing Commercial Airplanes in Everett WA is seeking a Deputy Business Operations Manager (Level M) to join the this role you will be responsible fo r partnering with the 777-8 Freighter Leadership and driving integration across the program.
Position Responsibilities :
Develop and Lead Business Operations for the 777-8 Freighter Program
Serve as a trusted advisor and business partner for the Program Manager
Manage develop and motivate employees and mid-level managers performing business management activitie s in the area of Business Operations
Responsible for Directive Management Management System Integration Production Integration (First 777-8F airplane builds) and Project Management oversight
Integrate with Functions and Capabilities across the Program to provide a forward looking integrated view and implement plans to mitigate risks and uncover and address potential issues
Develop and execute integrated program plans policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies goals objectives principally focused on the overall value chain of the project or program
Foster relationships between the Airplane Programs and Airplane Development
Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes
Develops and executes integrated organizational plans policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies goals objectives
Acquires resources for organizational activities provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reports
Monitors business unit work statement to support planning and execution
Aligns and integrates management system architecture across programs and business units
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience) :
10 years of experience in business operations or project / program management
5 years of experience with Program Management Best Practices (PMBP)
5 years of experience with managing managers as well as coaching and developing senior leadership
5 years experience creating executive level briefings in Powerpoint and presenting data driven recommendations to senior and executive leadership
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience) :
Bachelors degree or higher
Experience driving Business Operations Process Excellence
Cross-functional integration experience
