SUPERINTENDENT – Townhomes

If you work with our team :

  • Location : West Hollywood, CA
  • Monthly car allowance
  • Salary based on experience in the range of $150,000 to $190,000

An exciting opportunity :

GUILD GC, Inc is a vertically integrated construction and development company with a focus on building urban-infill multifamily projects across the westside of Los Angeles. With a pipeline of projects to build, we are looking for a Superintendent to lead the construction of a townhome project located in West Hollywood.

The Superintendent is accountable for the entire construction project from mobilization to completion, managing all field operations to ensure that self-performed and subcontracted trade work is completed safely, correctly, within budget and on schedule.

Initiatives you will challenge :

  • Manage all on-site activities, workmanship, and materials in conformance with the drawings and specifications.
  • Supervise all subcontractors and completion of scopes of work.
  • Supervise laborers and other company employees working onsite.
  • Manage construction schedules and provide regular updates and reports.
  • Track labor and materials costs to meet the project budget.
  • Enforce quality control of the work product.
  • Develop solutions to issues and problems that arise.
  • Manage all permits, project inspections, and the certificate of occupancy.
  • Implement and enforce the safety program, including regular safety meetings and inspections.
  • Prepare for and attend regular owner meetings.
  • Manage the opening and closing of the site, daily, and manage onsite security.
  • Write daily logs and take daily photos.
  • Write and manage RFIs and Submittals.

    • The successful candidate will possess :

  • Minimum 5 years of experience supervising residential ground up construction
  • Experience building high-end, multi-unit construction projects
  • Working knowledge of applicable codes and regulations (i.e., OSHA).
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, project management software (Procore or similar), and scheduling software (Project or similar)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Must possess valid / active driver’s license
  • Bonus : experience building in the cities of Los Angeles and West Hollywood.
