We are hiring Plastics Machine Operators for a Tier 1 Automotive facility. No prior experience is required. This role involves operating and monitoring plastic molding machines to ensure consistent production of high-quality parts.

Location : Sterling Heights (18 1 / 2 mile road)

Key Responsibilities :

  • Retrieve plastic parts from the conveyor
  • Inspect parts for visible defects
  • Label each part accurately
  • Transport completed parts to designated workstations

Available Shifts & Pay Rates :

  • 1st Shift : 7 : 00 AM – 3 : 00 PM | $15.50 / hour
  • 2nd Shift : 3 : 00 PM – 11 : 00 PM | $16.00 / hour (includes $0.50 shift premium)
  • 3rd Shift : 11 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM | $17.00 / hour (includes $1.50 shift premium)

    Requirements

    Plastics Machine Operator – Job Duties & Requirements

    Key Responsibilities :

  • Visually inspect plastic parts for defects
  • Wipe, label, and sort finished parts
  • Record counts of approved and rejected parts
  • Trim excess plastic from components
  • Print and apply labels to packaging
  • Maintain clean and organized workstation

    • Job Requirements :

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to stand for up to 10 hours
  • Follow instructions from supervisors accurately
  • Work well independently and as part of a team
  • Dependable and detail-oriented

    • No experience is necessary—training is provided! This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a Tier 1 automotive manufacturing environment.
