Stereo Compilation Specialist – Geospatial Data Extraction

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled Stereo Compilation Specialist to support the extraction of high-accuracy geospatial data from stereo imagery. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in photogrammetry , aerial triangulation , and D feature extraction for applications such as topographic mapping , shoreline delineation , elevation modeling (DEMs) , hydrographic surveys , and building footprint extraction .

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform stereo compilation using aerial or satellite stereo imagery to extract D geospatial features.
• Conduct shoreline delineation with high precision in coastal and inland water environments.
• Generate and validate Digital Elevation Models (DEMs) and topographic datasets .
• Extract building footprints and other urban features from stereo imagery for use in mapping and infrastructure planning.
• Support hydrographic survey projects by compiling bathymetric and shoreline data.
• Apply aerial triangulation (AT) techniques to align and orient stereo imagery.
• Collaborate with GIS analysts, cartographers, and remote sensing teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Maintain metadata and documentation for all compiled datasets.

Preferred Skills :

Experience working with Socket for Arc and with NOAA shoreline mapping experience is preferred.
