What you will be doing as the MedSpeed Operations Manager :
Overall leadership of Logistics Service Representatives, including performance management, recruitment, hiring, training, coaching and developmentManage service quality and efficiency through daily observations, monitoring of exception and performance reports and follow up coachingEnsure accuracy and ongoing system maintenance of route, client and variable stop dataPerform Logistic Service Representative route observations to ensure compliance with safety, client and operational procedures and identify improvement opportunitiesMaintain positive client relationships through regular communication and prompt resolution of service exceptionsEstablish and maintain a clean, safe work environment and ensure compliance with company’s Making Every Day Safe policyReview daily vehicle pre / post trip inspection checklists, coordinate repairs and maintenance with vendors and maintain maintenance history fileAssist operations team with projects to improve operational efficiency and service qualityAll other job-related duties as assignedBuild and nurture a collaborative MedSpeed team cultureOther job-related duties as assignedWhat you will need to bring to be the MedSpeed Operations Manager :
Excellent written and oral communication, strong interpersonal skillsCollaborative work style, able to work well within and across departmentsSuccessful experience applying quality management principlesStrong project management skillsStrong customer relation skills, demonstrated ability to interact with key decision makersProcess-oriented mindset focused on continuous improvement, excellent problem-solving skillsResult & action oriented with a sense of urgencyRational thinker with the ability to excel in stressful situationsDemonstrated leadership abilityStrong computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite proficiencyBachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Operations, Supply Chain Management or related field3-5 years logistics or transportation work experience preferred, or 3+ years management experience preferredCompensation StatementThe salary range is $80,000 - $90,000 annually and dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, MedSpeed offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and company performance.
