Position Summary
This position is responsible for supporting the Cooperative’s Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) functions. The FP&A Department is responsible for the Cooperative’s budgeting, financial analysis, financial planning, and reporting activities.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Work cross-departmentally to develop the Annual Budget for the Cooperative and provide forecasting recommendations.Prepare financial modeling and analysis for new and current Cooperative initiativesSupport and guide Cooperative departments in preparing business cases for new and current spending initiativesPrepare reports and analysis explaining financial resultsAssist with preparation of monthly report for the Board of DirectorsAssist with the completion of general cost studies including but not limited to cost of service, depreciation, and transmission cost of serviceSupport the reporting needs of the CooperativeSupport internal initiatives of the Finance departmentMaintain the security of confidential informationStay abreast of advances in technologyDemonstrate regular and prompt attendancePerforms other related duties as necessary or assignedSupervisory and / or Leadership Responsibilities

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Advanced knowledge Microsoft Excel and financial softwareKnowledge of using computer systems, which may include setting up and using hardware and software programs, entering data, processing information, or Microsoft Office ProductsKnowledge of business and management principles including strategic planning, resource allocation, and budgetingBasic knowledge in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) Accounting preferred, and financial statementsKnowledge of principles and processes for providing customer serviceSkilled in anticipating, identifying, analyzing, and resolving conflict and problemsSkilled in time management and managing changing prioritiesSkilled in effective verbal and written communicationHighly self-motivated and driven for resultsGreat team player prepared to help and lead others to achieve department goalsMinimum Qualifications - (Education, Experience)
