Job description :

In today's marketing world, the photo means everything, and Rimports is looking for a photographer that can make even everyday images beautiful and impactful. We need creative approaches to product packaging shots, compositions for merchandising displays, and of course fun social media plays. If you love to bring life to your images, this role is for you.

We are looking for a detail-oriented person who has the artistic ability to create stunning, eye-catching photography and is excited to see their work show up in large retail settings. The ideal applicant will help Rimports build a great in-house studio, take pride in their work and be organized, dependable, honest, and hard working. It is a must that this person be a team player and work well with others. Familiarity with current trends in design, color, fashion and social media style is preferred.

Duties :

Provide photography for packaging, catalogs, social media, website, displays and presentations.
Work closely with graphic designers to provide beautiful, eye-catching photos for packaging and other sales material
Work closely with the Graphic Design Manager developing procedures and standards for consistent high-quality imagery
Build a professional, efficient, and productive photography studio to add to our existing graphic design department
Retouching, clipping, and altering photos to provide to creative team and sales team
Organize the graphic file server and improve file naming procedures
Manage props, backgrounds, surfaces and equipment for overall image quality and variety.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years relevant work experience

A self-motivated person with proven experience improving photography elements and efficiently handling high volume image needs

Very experienced with all Adobe Suite programs : Photoshop, Lightroom, and other photo editing software.

Experience in providing E-commerce images

Familiarity with Mac OSX

Experience with both product and lifestyle photography. Familiar with social media posting styles as well as studio lighting

A good sense of design and trends

Proficient in self-editing photo software. Attention to detail, lighting, and ability to touch up flaws in product. Able to PhotoShop product into lifestyle backgrounds is a plus.

A sense of humor, strong work ethic, and great interpersonal skills

Time management, file organization and understanding of corporate objectives

Bonus Skills :

Videography / editing experience

Graphic design abilities to supplement our team
