Special Education Teacher - Full-Time

At Therapy Source, we're dedicated to shaping the future of children nationwide. Currently, we're seeking Special Education Teachers  to deliver in-person services to charter school students. These positions are for the upcoming school year.

Position 1 :

Full-Time

Elementary-High School

M-F / Full School Day (32.5 hours per week)

$40-$45 per hour

Position 2 :

Full-Time

$40-$52 per hour

List of Open Teaching Positions : Middle School = Math, ELA

High School = Statistics / Algebra, Algebra 1, Science

Special Education Teacher Qualification(s) :

• Licensure as a Special Education Teacher in the state of New Jersey
• Teacher with Students of Disabilities Certification OR Teachers of the Handicapped Certification
• Possession of (or willingness to obtain) up-to-date clearances
• Proof of individual professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)

Special Education Teacher Responsibilities May Include :

• Implementing specially designed instruction to drive student achievement
• Conducting progress monitoring data and adjusting instruction based on the data
• Establishing a positive, structured, achievement-focused classroom
• Providing support to students, parents, and general education staff and supporting student learning
• Mentoring and coaching students on self-regulation and organizational skills
• Developing effective IEPs that translate into measurable results for students
• Participating in multidisciplinary meetings
