Job Title : Certified Clinical Medical Assistant / Registered Medical Assistant

Location : Towson, MD– Free parking onsite

Shift : Monday–Friday, 8 : 30 AM – 5 : 00 PM (must be flexible for occasional 8 : 00 AM starts)

Pay Rate : $18–$22 per hour

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) to join our team in a clinic setting. This role primarily involves back-office responsibilities such as taking vitals and assisting providers, with occasional front-office support. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth patient flow and maintaining a clean, well-stocked environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform patient triage and obtain vitals

Assist providers during examinations and procedures

Conduct phlebotomy and specimen collection

Support pediatric and family health patients

Restock supplies and clean exam rooms after visits

Occasionally assist with front-office tasks (registration, insurance verification)

Qualifications

3+ years of Medical Assistant experience

Pediatric or family health experience required

CMA or RMA certification through one of the following ( CANNOT Accept NPCE) :

American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)

American Medical Technologists (AMT)

National Health Career Association (NHA)

National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)

National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP)

American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA)

Experience with phlebotomy, front / back-office tasks, registration, insurance verification, and vitals

Epic experience is a plus

Be able to pass medical compliance per institution's requirements

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Towson, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00 / hr.
