Broadcom is searching for an Engineering Manager for the Charlotte North Carolina MicroOptics location. This individual will lead a team of manufacturing engineers as they develop, test, modify, and create solutions to technical issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a group of manufacturing engineers and technicians engaged in optimizing manufacturing methods
• Analyze process data to improve product / process quality, performance, production, and profitability.
• Participate at all levels within the organization to establish functional business plans and to translate objectives and strategies into tactics to meet the short- and long-term goals.
• Work on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives
• Oversee all the activities related to process improvement and sustaining engineering projects including schedule, budget, and KPI metrics.
• Participate in customer and supplier communications / negotiations.
• Responsible for results, including costs, methods, and staffing, performance evaluation, career growth development and budgeting.

The annual base salary range for this position is $106,900 - $171,000. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
