Description : Purpose
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Administrator to manage and support our Salesforce environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring, customizing, and supporting Salesforce to improve workflow efficiency, enhance data quality, and drive user adoption across departments. The candidate will also be responsible for managing and customizing the Salesforce platform, including the configuration and maintenance of integrations with external systems, ensuring seamless data flow between Salesforce and other applications, while also performing Salesforce administrative tasks like user management, reporting, and training users. This role requires strong technical skills in Salesforce administration, a deep understanding of business processes, a focus on ensuring data security and compliance with relevant regulations and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the Salesforce environment, including user accounts, permissions, roles, profiles, and security settings (roles, OWD, sharing rules).
- Configure and customize Salesforce (flows, process builder, fields, page layouts, record types, custom settings, Visualforce pages with Apex / HTML / CSS, dashboards, Lightning App Builder).
- Install and manage AppExchange packages; assist with integrations and data migrations between Salesforce and external systems.
- Work with the VP of IT on Salesforce strategy, including automation, integrations, and access management.
- Consolidate data from multiple sources to create object relationships and support streamlined processes.
- Gather, prioritize, and implement business requirements in collaboration with stakeholders and consultants.
- Design and implement automated processes (flows, validation rules, approval processes) to optimize workflows.
- Perform system maintenance, data cleaning, and backups to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Conduct training and create documentation to drive user adoption and support onboarding.
- Stay current with Salesforce releases and best practices; implement new features to benefit the organization.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Salesforce issues; support development of custom applications as needed.
- Ensure HIPAA compliance through secure data handling, encryption, and audit practices.
- Maintain flexibility as the role evolves with company growth.
Requirements : Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator.Salesforce Administrator certification (ADM-201) preferred.Proficiency in Salesforce administration, including configuration, customization, and data management.Familiarity with automation tools such as Flow and Process Builder.Hands-on experience implementing Salesforce Shield (event monitoring, platform encryption, audit trail) and Salesforce Data Mask in regulated environments.Strong understanding of how to apply these tools to support HIPAA compliance, protect sensitive PHI / PII data, and maintain secure development and testing environments.Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud, including case management, knowledge base, and service console customization.Experience working in regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, life sciences, financial services) with a focus on compliance and data security.Additional Salesforce certifications (Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, or Service Cloud Consultant).Experience with integration tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, or similar).Salary And Benefits
The estimated hiring salary range for this position is $100,000-$115,000 .
The actual salary will be based on a variety of job-related factors, including geography, skills, education and experience. The range is a good faith estimate and may be modified in the future. This role is also eligible for a range of benefits including medical, dental and 401K retirement plan.
