Description :

Looking for a Registered Nurse in the Med-Surg / Telemetry specialty.

The position involves working night shifts.

Guaranteed hours are available.

Orientation hours will be provided.

Floating to the medical-surgical cluster is required.

The nurse will work every other weekend and 50% of holidays during the contract.

BLS and ACLS certifications are required.

This role will accept first-time travelers with the required experience.

Two years of nursing experience is mandatory.

The unit cares for patients with diagnoses such as heart failure, post-operative cardiac surgery, and others.

The daily nursing responsibilities include administering medications and managing patient care.

The successful candidate will have experience with telemetry monitoring and cardiac drips.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential.

The facility supports interdisciplinary teams including IV teams, respiratory services, and social services.

The nurse must be proficient in charting and documentation.

Traveling nurses are expected to float to any area within their competency.

Compliance with facility guidelines and protocols is mandatory.
