We are looking for an Applications Architect with a strong background in SmartSheet application design and enterprise integrations to join our team. This is a long-term contract opportunity focusing on creating and optimizing workflows that support critical business functions such as cost management, scheduling, procurement, and quality control. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in developing scalable solutions, integrating systems, and empowering internal teams to manage these environments effectively.
Responsibilities :
- Design and implement interconnected SmartSheet workflows to streamline cost tracking, project scheduling, procurement processes, quality control, and change management.
- Develop and optimize enterprise architecture using SmartSheet Control Center and blueprint governance to support scalable business operations.
- Engineer data pipelines for automated synchronization across sheets and projects, ensuring seamless integration with internal systems such as ERPs, scheduling tools, Procore, and Salesforce.
- Create real-time dashboards and advanced reporting views to enhance data visualization and decision-making.
- Build integrations using middleware tools like Power Automate and GoAnywhere to connect SmartSheet with third-party solutions and in-house platforms.
- Deliver hands-on training and documentation to internal teams, focusing on SmartSheet architecture, workflow management, and governance best practices.
- Maintain templates and control centers, ensuring consistency in design patterns, scalability, and version control.
- Provide expertise in relational data modeling within SmartSheet and structured handoffs between operational and analytical layers.
- Oversee user onboarding and lifecycle management for large-scale deployments, ensuring adherence to governance models and change control processes.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in application architecture and related fields.
- Proficiency in SmartSheet tools such as Control Center, WorkApps, DataMesh, Data Shuttle, Dynamic View, Bridge, and Connectors.
- Demonstrated expertise in API development and integration with platforms like Power BI, Procore, Salesforce, and scheduling software.
- Strong knowledge of AWS technologies and .NET frameworks, including ASP.NET.
- Proven ability to design scalable and maintainable workflows within SmartSheet ecosystems.
- Experience with middleware tools for system integration, such as Power Automate and GoAnywhere.
- Solid understanding of data engineering concepts, including relational data modeling and multi-source data aggregation.
- Effective communication skills to deliver training and documentation tailored to technical and non-technical audiences.
