The Clinical Director is supervised by the CEO
The Clinical Director supervises : Clinical Staff
The Clinical Director :
- Assures a work environment that recruits, retains, and supports quality staff and volunteers
- Assures process for selecting, developing, motivating, and evaluating staff.
- Recruits personnel, negotiates professional contracts, and sees that appropriate salary structures are developed and maintained.
- Specifies accountabilities for management personnel and evaluates performance regularly.
- Oversees clinical program, audits charts, provides clinical supervision.
The Clinical Director does not prescribe or administer medications.

Coordinate with other disciplines to provide highest level of careAttends treatment team and staff meetingsProvides staff supervision and trainingOversees clinical programOversees quality of treatment and documentationOther duties as assignedAs Needed :
Counseling duties as needed and documents in a secure EHRDiagnosing, writing progress notes, providing therapyIntake and admissionsIncluding the BPSThe Clinical Director maintains resident Electronic Health Records (EHR) documents in the resident file per the APA ethical codes, organization policies, state and federal regulations, and The Joint Commission Standards.

Minimum two years of supervisory experience in the industry of addiction treatment.
May be registered, licensed, or certifiedTwo years clean and sober if in recoveryCurrent CPR and First Aid Certification on fileCurrent TB skin test and health screen reportKnowledge :
Twelve Step Recovery ProgramSocial Model detoxSupervising a teamTraining and educatingGathering dataManaging a budgetCommunity resources and referral techniquesWorking with addiction and dual diagnosisKnowledge shall include the signs and symptoms of alcohol and other drug intoxication and withdrawal, as well managing a business in the industry of addiction treatment. The handling of medical consultations and referrals shall be a necessity for emergencies.
