As a Specialty Oncology Retail Pharmacist , you will assist our clinical teams and patients by ensuring safe, accurate, and timely preparation and dispensing of medications so they can receive the best possible care throughout their treatment journey.

Responsibilities Here's what might happen on a typical day...

You'll be the go-to expert for oncology medications, collaborating with physicians and nurses to verify prescriptions, prepare chemotherapy admixtures, and counsel patients on their medications. You'll manage inventory, ensure compliance with safety and legal standards, and help patients understand how their treatment impacts their daily lives. This role requires precision, compassion, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail truly matters.

Qualifications

For your safety, keep this in mind :

This position requires standing or sitting for extended periods, manual dexterity, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs occasionally. You'll work in an environment where exposure to chemotherapeutic agents and other medicinal preparations is possible, so adherence to safety protocols is essential.
